`Calling all Pre-School / Playgroups `
The Play Network (Bradford) in conjunction with Bradford Under Fives (BUFA) and Pre School Learning Alliance (PLA) are currently looking at ways in which we can collectively support Pre-School and Playgroup Groups with resources across the District.
The Network has some resources available for loan appropriate for chilren under the age of 5 which can be accessed through the Network`s Membership scheme. Both BUFA and PLA also have some resources available through their service, however; there are currently insufficient resources to support all Pre School and Playgroups. Most providers are now required to work towards Foundation Stage Learning Goals, therefore it may be more productive to provide resources which would support this area of work, specifically aimed at under 5`s, there are also children with special educational needs who may require additional, more specialised resources to support their development.
The Play Network, BUFA and PLA are looking to work together to support this area of need and require response to this proposal.
If the prospect of obtaining a range of age, stage and curriculum based appropriate resources were more widely available through a loaning system we would like to hear from you. We are in the process of gathering evidence to support this proposal and would therefore welcome any comments and feedback.
